Facebook, a social network created in Harvard's bedroom in 2004, now has more than 2 billion users worldwide. This achievement was announced today on Facebook by CEO Mark Zuckerberg for his 92 million followers.
Mark Zuckerberg shared the news directly, with Fast Company which has an ongoing effort to keep upward growth for Facebook. "It's an honor for me to be on this trip with you," said Zuckerberg.
"More than a billion people use groups every month." Facebook, in its own words, will "show appreciation" of its latest features in the next few days by publishing personal videos associated with its newly revised mission statement. "We are making progress in connecting the world, and now let's bring the world together," Zuckerberg said.
It is worth mentioning that the list of platforms in the world, which exceeded 2 billion active users per month is not very long, but last month, the Android operating system exceeded 2 billion active devices per month.

A couple things you will never see published from Facebook is the amount of people that do not use it anymore. People died and they don't use it anymore. People like me stop using it because we're tired of the censorship and all the lies and crap that it promotes. But they will always say that it keeps growing that seems weird to me because I know people that don't use it anymore you never see them say anything about that. And why is it you cannot delete your account? you can go inactive.but your account is still there.why won't they let you delete it?
