I've come to view all of these maneuvers to oust "Russian Trolls" and squash "Fake News" by FB and the corporate media at large, as just another excuse to subtly reinforce nationalism and jingoism, xenophobia and the like. They would very much like to reduce and limit the number of spaces online where people of different nationalities and ideologies can interact with each other freely. "Russian Trolls" is the new " They have WMD's"... An excuse to declare war, albeit this time on the free flow of information and freedom of association online.
