How to Face Your Fears and Win

One of the best ways to overcome fear is to face your fears head on. You might have heard the saying "nothing good comes for free", well this is true, when you face your fears you will know this is true. If we don't face our fears, what do we expect them to do to us?


There are many ways to face your fears. The first thing you need to do is to accept that you have fear. Don't try to deny it because it won't make it go away. If you look at something as a problem and you try to solve it by not looking at it you will never overcome the fear. We must first realize that a problem is only a problem until it becomes something we want to solve.

We can change the situation but we can't change our mind. We can't avoid the fear but if we can confront it and face it we will be able to get over it. So how do we know if a fear is real or is just a way of hiding something? The best way to find out is to leave it alone. Sometimes leaving it alone will make the fear go away on its own.

You should not feel ashamed or guilty because this is where your problem is coming from. The more you look inside the problem and the worst that can happen is that you will realize that it isn't as bad as it looks and you will be able to face your fears. If you keep telling yourself that it is going to be a big long haul and you will get over it you aren't setting yourself up for success.

So what can you do to face the fear? You should first decide if you are willing to do whatever it takes to get over the fear. This means that you should really push yourself to the limit and really challenge yourself. I would suggest that you set a goal of one day per week to do one thing that will help you overcome your fear. That will give you a push in a positive direction.


Another thing that you can do is try to see the world from a different perspective. Instead of looking at your fears as something that is horrible that you want to get over you, look at them as opportunities. Instead of seeing yourself as someone that is horrible have you ever met someone that sucked at something or had some kind of disability that held them back? When you look at problems in a positive light instead of a negative one, you will see that it is possible to overcome your fears.
