ELEVEN FACTS ABOUT NEAR EAST UNIVERSITY.

1. Students must hand over all their Original Credentials to the University at Registration.

1. There are actually no #Scholarship from the University for International Students, all those 50%, 25% Scholarship are Marketing strategies use to lure unsuspecting Students to the University.

2. Students are not allow to write their Exam if they are owning and yet they are expected to pay this outstanding fees with ridiculous Interest and penalties whenever they have the money to pay irrespective of the fact that they were not allow to write Exams.

3. Students are not allow to freeze a Semester on Financial grounds, yet they are not allow to proceed with their Studies (write Exams etc), and to make things worst, they are expected to pay the accumulated Semester fees with ridiculous Interest and penalties whenever they have the money to pay.

4. The University is strictly out to ripe Students of their Money, the welfare of these Students is non of their Business. The University is more or less a Company-hence the name, #NearEastUniversityLimited.

5. The University doesn’t meet International Standard, locals who do not understand English are assign to handle Students affair in various offices. There are many Instances where locals who cannot communicate in English are given English Courses to teach, and locals who have no basic knowledge of a Course are assign this Courses to lecture.

6. Of all the University on the Inland, Discrimination is highest in #NearEastUniversity, International #Students are not given the same opportunities with local students in #Assistanship in the #University, there are many Instances where #Lecturers favor local Students in grading over #International Students.

7. There are no regulatory bodies in the University, a Professor can decide to fail you and you cannot appeal to anyone. Another example is with the Accounting office, If this Office tell you for instance that your Debt is 10000 Euro and yet you are sure that your Debt is 2000 Euro and have all your evidence of Payment, you can not dispute or appeal this, if you write to the Rector’s office, you will be refer you back to the Accounting Office and this office with cover up this fraud with some Penalty and Interest Nonsense.

8. If you are owning the University a dine, they University will not issue you your Transcript, they will not release the Original Certificate you submitted at Registration and yet this Debt will mysteriously keep compounding.

9. All Students pay an annul Health Insurance of 50 Euro and yet to the best of our knowledge, experiences and Investigation, these Students are not being insured. Unlike other Universities on the #Inland where Students have free access to the #State #Hospitals, #NearEastUniversityStudents do not. The International Office claims that the Health Insurance over 50% discount in #NearEastUniversityHospital yet Students are being charged outrageous bills in the University’s Hospital far more than what State Hospitals on the Inland will charge a regular patient.

10. Near East University is the only University we know of on Planet Earth that Off their Review Setting on their Official Facebook Page. This is a well calculated move to stop Students from exposing all the mischievous deeds going on in the University.
