Three weeks ago they installed our solar panels. And everything looked great. We saw the installer running across the roof , trough our gutter and at some point he was stainding on the skylight. We didn't payed any attention to it because we thought he knew what he was doing...
So after some long time yesterday it started to rain like crazy... It has been dry for weeks now, so we could use a little rain... When my wife was going upstairs the noticed a big leakage at the skylight, in the seam where the skylight was tightened to the roof... Seems that it wasn't a good idea of the installer to put his weight on the window...
So i tried to call the firm at their alarm number, no reaction...they were closed. So I sended them a mail and got a mail back that they only response in emergencies. So I mailed back that a house full of water is somekind of emergencie to me, but I didn't got any reaction back. So tomorrow morning somebody is getting a angry customer on the phone......

It is, and I hope it too, next week we arwe leaving for a holiday so I hope it's fixed by then otherwise we can't see what's happening when we are out....

Oh wow, that stinks! I would give them the old what-for. My brother in law were just talking about solar panels this weekend and I mentioned how someone I had met on Steemit just had some installed on their house. He is really interest in getting some installed where he lives.

Yeah, it does a little (stinks).. But the solar panels are doing great, in three weeks time we got about 400KWH from the panels.. That's serious business ;)
The damage will be fixed this week so I hope it will be a little minor detail on the whole thing... these things happen, but i wished not at our home lol...

My skylight tends to exhibit similar behaviour on random occasions. I can't blame no one for walking over it though.
