A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. (George Bernard Shaw)

Need I say more about this quote? I couldn't agree more! Sometimes I can get mad at my kids when they want to fill their cup with water, but in the end, all the water ends up on the floor. They do mistakes all the time. But, do I really want to yell at them for making mistakes? Do I really want to kill that explorer within them who wants to explore new things, try and do experiments, and as a result, fail a whole lot of times? Of course I don't want to kill that! So, I guess it is time for me and many other parents to relax and allow our kids to fail over and over again, and rather encourage them to just keep trying, because in the end, they will succeed!

By the way, I would never be where I am today if I hadn't failed hundreds of times along the way. It is a natural part of the story, so I guess we should be just as patient with the people around us as we expect and hope for people to be patient with us!

Do you have trouble being patient when people fail around you? When they make mistakes? I for sure struggle with this, but I do hope I will get better and better at understanding that failing is a vital part on the road to success!
