Hmm, just heard someone ask a question I had not asked before: why did Bathsheba even bathe in the open like that?
No doubt, the king did not go out to war while other kings went so he probably had nothing to do except to walk and look around the city, but still, wouldn't Bathsheba have thought that there could be someone watching her, maybe from a higher vantage point, possibly like the palace, tower or hill?
