Hello friends, allow me to share today one of our Catholic beliefs.
Roman Catholics vowed for Mother Mary as the mother of God's son Jesus Christ. That is why in every Roman Catholic church, her image or statue is always present. We believe that through her when she beg for something to her son, she must be heard thus our prayers to her will also be brought to his son.

A famous Mother Mary shrine here in Cebu is in Simala, Sibonga - an hour travel from Cebu City.
