One tradition my little family has is to carve a pumpkin each year, and yesterday, we continued this tradition.
While Jacob is still too little to help cut the pumpkin, he helped design the pumpkin’s face this year. He asked for triangle eyes, a circle nose, and a smile with two teeth. He also helped draw on the side of the pumpkin so I knew where to cut. Here are the results of our carving:
We also saved some of the pumpkin seeds and coated them in olive oil and garlic salt - after 25 mins in the oven at 300 degrees, we had some delicious snacks for dad!
This was an enjoyable experience for sure, and is great memory building for the kids! Looking forward to Halloween tomorrow!

Brian
