It was an absolutely beautiful day outside today. A perfect day for my niece to have her first softball game of the season. This is her first year playing, and I can already tell she is loving the sport.
She got a chance to pitch in the 3rd and 4th innings, and I was seriously impressed. She hasn’t practiced too much outside from actual practices with her team, but she looked like a natural out there.
There are a few things we can work on to get her more confident in the field and at the plate, but all in all, a very strong showing for her first ever game! She had some strikeouts, scored a run, made a few nice plays in the infield, and most importantly, had fun doing it!
That’s all you can really ask for!

Sports are so awesome! I enjoyed them very much and believe they are key for the young to keep busy and develop many key traits for the real world!
