It's The Last Day Before We Go Home

It's been a great time on the American Homestead and now we are spending some time with the Wells family. Thank you @dwells for opening your home and property for us!

We Woke Up to a Foggy Morning

We came out of the tent to a very misty, foggy morning. Everything was so still and quiet, even if we heard our local rooster occasionally say "good morning".

Delicious Breakfast

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast together, scrambled eggs and pancakes for the little ones and omelettes for the adults. Yum! (@dwells makes a fantastic omelette, if anyone asks).

Bible Reading

After breakfast, later in the day, we cracked open our bibles and turned the pages back to the beginning to "in the beginning" and read the Creation account.

We Played Torah Line

We were introduced to a game where you place event cards from the Torah and put them in proper order. It's a fun way to test and practice biblical understanding.

The whole game is based on three torah portions from the beginning of Exodus (1:1) to Chapter thirteen (Exodus 13:16) If someone familiarized themselves with these chapters, they would win this game very easily.

This day went by quickly...

Before we knew it, the Sabbath was coming to an end. The sun was getting low in the sky and it was time to get ready for dinner.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
