A family, from what I was taught in high school, is a group of people related by blood or marriage. This relationship isnt just for the sake of having a relationship; the family is the bedrock of culture amd upbringing. Before a child ever makes contact with the outside world, they have their families to relate with and be brought up under. This, I suppose, is one of the reasons why it takes great faith and a strong will for a child who didnt grow up without (at least) a "father-or-mother-figure" to grow up and not want to vent their anger on society!
Receiving the news about the protest against the CPS's move to take children children away from their families to a "Family House" has made me ask a couple of questions:
- Whatever happened to the love and care that these kids receive from their own parents who are still alive?
- Were the emotional trauma and other related effects of this act on these children and their parents even considered?
- Isn't this a new form of human trafficking? Because I am sure that they expect the UNICEF and other organizations would want to pump money into that scheme.
- How sure are we that the Family House will raise those kids to be fit to be beneficial to society?
This is selfish, and I daresay that whoever came up with this idea does not know the love of family!
CPS, stop separating our families!
