CFS sent me a letter

My dear these people are the epitome of evil.

Every conversation whether in person or on the phone. Write down EVERYTHING that was said by you AND especially THEM. Put it in a letter to them!
Example:
Dear CPS Swine,
On blah blah date we had a conversation and to avoid any misunderstandings I feel it's important to clarify our discussion.
You said, "Don't ask how your son is doing" ....

You see my point and what I'm telling you. Word it however you like but don't be nasty and oppositional. This is strictly a FACTUAL LEGAL document.

Important
At the end of every letter you need to write:
If you disagree with any statements in this letter you have 7 business days to respond otherwise all information contained in this correspondence will be considered fact.

When you do this you're documenting WORD FOR WORD your conversations and they cannot lie about them anymore.
However also keep in mind that if they dispute your recollection of the conversation and write you back you must respond back. Who ever has the last word -is the statement of fact legally speaking. Don't let them write you back stating "that's not what happened blah blah blah” and you not respond.

It's just like court. If they make an allegation or statement about you or your child and you do not respond to it (which happens a lot, we're nervous distraught, upset, overwhelmed with emotion. They use that against you) it becomes fact in the court record.

Basically you're keeping a record to stop them from lying to the Judge, and Judges love records!

Since they apparently sent this to you in letter form be sure to keep the letter. I cannot imagine what excuse they could possibly give the judge for telling you not to inquire as to his well being. They'll use it against you though.
If it was me I'd bring it up right away at your next hearing. I think I'd also write back and make them clarify their reasons.

Keep in mind that YOU are THE expert in dealing with your child -not them. That case worker has likely never spent more than 5 minutes total with your child. You've been his parent for however many years. YOU know what's best NOT them. YOU are the childs parent and THEY are intruding on YOUR right to raise your children unmolested by the state.

It's hard to do but try to keep calm and FIGHT.
It's really hard. In looking back there's so many things that I wish I'd said. It's real hard at the time to know how to respond to this. They're evil. I'm so sorry you're going through this.
