Another story of an Indigenous child apprehended by Child and Family Services based on visiting a doctor or the hospital. In this case, the baby was removed over concerns of abuse by starving, etc. It later became apparent that the baby had a health issue that was ignored by the doctor who reported the family. The family was pushed almost to bankruptcy to get their child back and, while they are firmly middle class, no longer afford to give the child the life she deserves because savings set aside for experiences and activities is now gone.

What a sad story to read. They shouldn't have allowed the parents to go through such ordeal and the doctor need to be sue so as to deter others from making such a hasty and unconfirmed decision or diagnosis.
