André Rieu keeps climbing on my personal playlist year after year - this is why! (Voiceless Music of Higher Intelligence)

I listen with great appreciation to the greatest talents from around the world and one performing artist that has built a brand around himself is André Rieu. In the following video he and his large orchestra plays a waltz written by Sir. Anthony Hopkins about 50 years ago, in the presence of Sir. Anthony Hopkins. Look at his wife next to him and feel the emotion, pretty fantastic.

Another performance I keep returning to is this one that he did on stage with "Bond" more than ten years ago, please enjoy:

Hi @fyrstikken , I would never have imagined you as someone who enjoys classical music, I also was not aware that Sir. Anthony Hopkins is a composer. From watching the video , Sir. Anthony Hopkins was taken by surprise when he heard his composition. André Rieu violin skills is true mastery of an art that is slowly disappearing in a world of high tech music. Both of the compositions were an absolutely pleasure to listen to. Thank you for sharing!

You are welcome :)

Thank you so much for the upvote of my comment @fyrstikken and also for replying. Cheers

I had never heard of André Rieu nor Sir Anthony Hopkins. There are so many amazing composers & conductors in the world (I studied piano in college) that we never got to in my program.

I really enjoyed the elegant simplicity of Hopkins' writing. It's refreshing at a time in the world where so many things are needlessly complicated, including our art. I loved seeing the expressions on different audience members as well as the Hopkins and his wife. It underscores the intense "livingness" of music.

Thanks for sharing @fyrstikken!

Here is a piece I really enjoy by the revolutionary composer Dolores Catherino. She invented a system of pitch division called polychromatism. Warning: this music is quite unusual to the ears at first because it uses intervals not in our "typical" scale of 12 notes. Over time the ears will expand after listening to microtonal music and grow to like it. :) I hope you enjoy her composition called "Recurrence."

All credit goes to Dolores Catherino as composer of this interesting style of music. How did you feel as you listened/ watched this?

Wow - This is astounding - I'm going to check into more of her music. Thanks @d-pend ! Fascinating .....

Great, please do! Glad you enjoyed it :)

The style of music felt a little like Vangelis.

This is some superb music @fyrstikken
Just watching Anthony Hopkins happily dance in his seat makes me happy! haha
Perfect! Just perfect! The music is perfect, the hall is perfect even the dresses of the violinist are perfect!!!!!
Thanks for this great share! :)

It was a wonderful tribute to (Sir?) Anthony Hopkins. playing his own waltz! Keep posting this kind of stuff and you'll get upvotes from me.

Absolutely fantastic music, so beautiful. I have never heard of it before but it's really emotional and it touches my heart. Thanks for sharing. I personally don't listen to much music, I love to enjoy the silence! But this is something extra:)

Here's another moving piece:

I love this guy!

Absolutely amazing, thanks!

Hey Dude,
This is nearly 2 hours but worth it. A classic performance by Ludovico Einaudi at the Royal Albert Hall in 2010.
Enjoy.

Libertango by Alison Balsom!

There is nothing more exciting to watch than some very talented women that are beautiful and have such infectious smiles when they are having fun at what they do.
Great video no matter how many times it has been around.

Ok here is a piece I absolutely loved. Vavilov's Ave Maria with Russian Horns (starts at 20 sec)

It's beautiful @fyrstikken! Utterly delightful and heavenly music flowing from André Rieu and his large orchestra. And the looks on Sir Anthony Hopkins and his wife, Stella Arroyave's face is one of sheer pleasure at the excellent rendition! Lovely to watch. Totally brings a smile onto my face too. :)
André Rieu is definitely gifted. Am feeling like dancing to the second video (with Bond) now! :D

Love Glen Frey's

Nothing like women and violins

Andre Rieu is amazing. Have you hear 'music of the night' by andre rieu? I dont knw why, for some unknow reason, i tear up the first time i heard it. And my heart continues to 'break into pieces' every time i hear that song. Does it give you the strange feeling too?
Violin is such a powerful instrument, the queen of instruments they say. And an orchestra, all together is just mesmerizing. Brings out so many emotions, for some unknown reason.

Ive only recently discovered the 'electric light orchestra', british band. Cant believe havent heard from them before (Cant load here, im on a mobile) but did post about about it a few days ago. Let me know if you like it:)

Cheers to great music!

Instrumentals are often enough. Thinking Ocean is an apt addition as we swim in the see of minnows, dolphins and whales :)

Hi @fyrstikken. What an amazing experience, the atmosphere and sound of each instrument can be appreciated. Classical music is the foundation of all music played today but yet so little of it is heard or appreciated. The intimate settings in both videos allows the viewer to also be a part of the experience. I really enjoyed both videos.
I hope you enjoy my choice.

Wow amazing.
It must be the most romantic couple.

Very good music to be heard @fyrstikken

This is some good shit

AMAZING! we need some more like this!

@fyrstikken wow what a nice song its really nice feeling to me while i hear it.

Thank You For Sharing This Fantastic Artist @fyrstikken 👍 He's Amazing!!! Definitely turned me on to something "New & Refreshing" I instantly got hooked!! I watched a few videos thanks to you!!!

An inspiration that is not saturated, never feel bored with something like this. Classical music gives the strains of a tone that makes it a source of inspiration. The strains of his music are calm until tight, presenting a lyrical value for the listener. Because more classical music is presented on the strains of the tone, without the lyrics of the song. I love this stream of music. Thanks for sharing @fyrstikken

Very charismatic and emotional performances !

What a nice surprise!
Played it while I was cooking in the kitchen and that was fun!

Music transcends all language, and conveys emotions so easily.

Also, it's so cute how Anthony Hopkins is singing along

That was truly beautiful x

Bond is good cruisin' music!

I like this kinda stuff!

After a smoke and get in my "cool mojo" mode,

I definitely appreciate vibes like that...

Fretty fantastic. I like post you. Amazing

Yes André is awesome!! As a kid my parents always played his music at home. This year I started taking some violin classes, unfortunately I stopped because I couldn't find enough time to practice.

But the violin is such a beautiful instrument and very hard to play, to set the right tone and feeling... André is such a classical talent who can make a violin sound so pure.

I LOVE IT!

Outstanding music , full of emotion and support . Now music is all about cursing , sex , drugs , this is where real music comes in . @fyrstikken

I guess those musicians have their share in sex and drugs. But they probably talk politely during.

Amazing

Music is food to the soul, it connect with human emotions .

@fyrstikken I loved Andre Rieu music since moment I heard it. You might love this song... It is performed by Nahko Bear from band Medicine for the people. Name of the song is 'Aloha Ke Akua'. Lyrics and video are great

Beautiful music. Sir Anthony Hopkins is also a painter.

Watching the choreography of the ladies in colorful dresses dancing and playing violin is really nice, listening to these tones a joy for our ears, but to see the sparks in Anthony Hopkins eyes ... that is just priceless!!

Thanks for sharing @fyrstikken I had no idea that He composed this.

That was a treat to watch Anthony Hopkins dancing skills never fails to impress anyone :)
