Hi guys,

I'm not a die-hard warhammer or fantasy fan, in a sense that I sit around my warhammer miniatures 24/7 (I don't even have one), but I am a huge fan of C.L. Werner. This guy writes dark fantasy novels, set in the Warhammer theme. Very well written, very eloquent, and very thrilling. The story follows the quest of Witch Hunter Mathias Thulmann, who travels through the empire in search of a vampire and an evil book used by necromancer to raise the dead. (And he has sidekick who is drunk and ends up in bar fights five times a day, essential elements for any novel..:D )

There are three books, Witch Hunter, Witch Finder and Witch Killer.

A must-read for any Warhammer or fantasy literature fan!![410ADE1RACL.jpg]

There are a lot of other dark fantasy novels out there if you feel like branching out a bit. I would recommend Job Abercrombie and his First Law trilogy, definitely falls into the grim/gritty sort of fantasy genre.
