StrongBlock is one of the projects I have been very bullish about for a very long time. But, then something happened in May that changed so many things. The biggest problem wasn't the changes that took place, changing the entire reward payout system and more, but the way it happened. Instead of communicating clearly, they simply implemented the changes and then they took a "treatment of silence" to the community. Instead of playing with open hands, David Moss, the CEO of StrongBlock, has been quiet since then and there has been no AMA nor anything else. What was the actual strength of StrongBlock earlier, at least making an attempt to communicate with the community, suddenly turned worse than ever as it became a no communication at all strategy?
They have this guy Saul on Discord sometimes answering questions, but it is far from what should be expected from a token and a project with such a big community.
In the midst of the quietness, they have implemented two new things...
- The chance to transform your existing Ethereum nodes into entangled nodes.
- Fantom nodes have been implemented.
These would be great, but there is still no real communication and I guess David Moss knows about this, because he made it impossible for people to comment on his most recent tweet, probably knowing that the community is furious.
Once again, the problem isn't necessarily the changes, but the fact that the community has been left in the dark with no real communication and with no chance to ask questions at all. As a result, the price per STRNGR token has dumped a lot, and currently, you pay more to keep your node active than you get in rewards, making it one of the most stupid investments on the market.
