Sharing some of the health benefits of Stinging Nestle with @farms community

Stinging Nettle otherwise known as Urtica dioca by scientists is herb with lots of health benefits to man. It is a common plant that is found in the tropics. It is quite small in size and short in height to about 5 feets. The Stinging Nettle is also known by names such as burn weed and burn nettle, this is due to the fact that it cause uncomfortable feeling when touched or comes into contact with the skin however this property is taken care off when are boiled or used for other purposes. Some individuals prefer to make soups with it due to its health benefits but most commonly people prefer to make a tea out of it, this way lots of its health properties are preserved.

So what the health benefits that one may enjoy from the use of Stinging Nettle? First and foremost, It is a detoxifier, thus it cleanses the system or better still the body, not externally though, I mean internally. It causes one to pass out lots of urine thus has diuretic property, this enables the body to send out toxins in the body that may be a menace to proper functioning of the systems within the body, especially the kidneys. It also help enhance the digestive system reabsorption of nutrients.

Stinging Nettle is also very good for the female gender in the sense that it has lots of minerals that support the health of women, it is known to be highly effective against menstrual pains and cramps. It also minimizes the total amount of blood loss during menstruation. For menopausal individuals it ensures smooth evolution, thus ensuring most of the symptoms that come with drastic menopausal transitions are kept at bay. It is rich in Vitamin C and Iron, this makes it a good blood tonic since it ensures red blood cell proliferation.
