On Saturday evening, fembots, angels, ghosts, Disney princesses, and Britney Spears impersonators packed the streets of Madison Square Garden in New York. This wasn't your average Halloweekend bash: it was Harry Styles' concert, and visitors were urged to dress up in their best costumes. The singer's followers, dubbed "Harries," did not disappoint (how could they, when the object of their devotion was also dressed so well?). The new trick-or-treating is dressing up like Harry Styles.

Styles has been bringing big clothes to the stage since the start of his second solo tour, Love on Tour, in September (his printed suits or sequined vests all designed by Gucci, of course). His audience, on the other hand, has been as stylish. Last night's Halloween concert, on the other hand, saw this love of dress carried to new heights. Styles took the stage dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, mirroring the fervor of his audience. The costumes included several homages to Harry himself (plenty of feather boas! ), as well as more surprising costumes, such as the entire Scooby Doo gang and the cheerleaders from Bring It On, which were photographed on the scene by Vogue's Landon Phillips.
While the over-the-top costumes on Halloween eve were numerous and varied, there was a common thread that ran through them all. Many fans arrived with their best homemade signs in the hopes of catching Styles' attention as he played. “Punch me in the face!” and "I spent my student loan money on you!" "Ring on!" and "Ring on!" are only a couple of instances. It was the best Halloween costume party in town, with the extra benefit of being serenaded all night by Harry Styles.
