So, this post is for the young buds from school who wants to pursue Fashion Design (B.Des)
There is an unanswered question which i would like to answer voluntarily.
"Which stream or subjects set to be taken after 10th which could benefit the study of fashion further?"
The fact is that Fashion is not stream bounded according to the Education system here in our country but let's talk about the subjects which really help in the better understanding of Fashion.
So, there is the one word answer - Commerce!
Fashion is much more to business than we know. And thanks to CBSE for designing 'Fashion design' (053) in April 2004 in collaboration with National Institute of Fashion Technology. It is an elective subject of 70 marks theory and 30 marks for practical. But there are very less schools who have this subject in there curriculum.
