Only a day after the Express posted the previous fear porn they are spewing with lies about the end of the world, now they're trying to scare people into thinking a G2 solar storm (the second weakest of the scale of storms) is going to destroy mankind.
This time the dubious article is titled, "Solar storm heading towards Earth threatening to break your Sky TV and mobile phones"
Here's a few lines from this another example of agenda-based-media-mind-control;
"A HUGE solar storm is heading towards Earth which could leave us without mobile phones, satellite TV and even electricity."
"Modern-day Britain could go into meltdown after scientists forecast the solar storm to hit between now and Friday which could wreak havoc with technology."
"As a result, Earth is expected to be hit by a swarm of particles in the coming days which, on a better note, could cause the Northern Lights to be visible."
"Mauro Messerotti, from the University of Trieste the National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) warned that the hole “extends for about 30 per cent of the disk of the sun” and that the structure “may persist for more than a month because these holes sometimes last for more than one full rotation of the sun, which lasts 28 days.”"
At least one commenter on the page called these idiots at the Express out with correct information;
"G-2 storm, second-lowest rating, possible minor impacts at high latitudes, no impacts below high latitudes (above 60 degrees North): Alaska, Canada, U.S. northern border states, Scandinavia, northern parts of the United Kingdom. Just another example of the media trading public hysteria for clicks."
The thing is, this isn't just about click-bait and switch, it's about trying to keep people perpetually in fear as I explained in the first example of this. The media is all about keeping people in this state so they spend their lives focusing on this crap rather than focusing on being their best potentials in life - reaching our genius potential.
The powers-that-never-truly-were want people to stay like this so we are always afraid to live like we should be - happy with love and joy.

It seems like we get a different flavour of fearmongering from every angle. Even alternative news outlets which I like using aren't immune to it. Sometimes I get to the point where I think I should just ignore 100% of bad news, and that will probably get me closer to the truth. Nice post, have a good one.

There is hardly any difference between mainstream media and alt- media. It's all agenda-fear-based-media-mind-control. Everyone has an agenda to try and get people to become filled with things they wouldn't normally be in a normal civilization. So on my website and through my Steemit, I'm trying to warn people of the dangers of all of this. Why because I fell for it, and it ruined my life. I've been "there" where it controlled me to the point of where really bad things happened to me, and for what... because of the media and things like this.
They roll these articles out like clock work. It's always in a cycle of time of about every 8 years - and they use the same exact things to put people into fear. It's partially about money, but the consequences of these effects are very damaging to society.
