Today is not women's day yet we will be celebrating women with our #celebratewomen tag - would you believe that this will the first post on it?

In today's report, @BlockRush will complete our series on gender inequality in the Blockchain industry. If you missed yesterday's part of this series, read it here:

We have written about this subject in the past and will do it again to highlight the urgent need to address this gender inequality in the Blockchain industry.

According to Coin.Dance, gender interest in Bitcoin and Blockchain stands at 97 for men and 3% for women; ~~very impressive~~. Motherboard has already highlighted this issue in one of their publications and we will not do that here.

5, 6 & 7: The men are have become complacent

The Blockchain industry is dominated by men upto to 90% and like most male dominated industries, it is plagued with one familiar curse: ~~a lack of seriousness~~.

Look at Steem, how far have we come? No that far. We signed up for Steem last year but due to the bad marketing and design of Steemit - I thought it was the scam of the century. Where on earth do people pay you for writing posts?

We are still lacking behind despite the fact that Steem works. How many of the top earners have ever bothered to contribute to making Steem better? Look at the outdated user interface we have after all these years?

How come no single Steemian has attempted to build something beautiful on Steem? Why is it that busy.org, esteem and dtube.video are all built by loosely organized developers?

Why is there no million dollars company on Steem that will match Steem to that of Medium.com or Tumblr?

Then look at Bitcoin and Ethereum. How well are they doing? They only thing happening with Bitcoin is forks and forks. Likewise the only thing happening with Ethereum is meaningless ICOs.

After all these years, the Blockchain community is still a loosely operated movement of voluntary developers and basement hackers. There is no organization, direction or sense of purpose.

No government is out to destroy Blockchain technology and yet we are still here making and believing conspiracy theories about how the government is our enemy.

The fact is, we are not serious at all. We have this wonderful gift called Blockchain technology and we are just toying with it to earn extra bucks.

8 & 9: Men have become self centered

There is a saying;

If you educate a man you educate an individual but if you educate a women you educate a nation....

You reading this post, ask yourself: what useful thing have you done with all the money you make from Steem? Do you consume it all just like some extra bonus, use it as a supplement for your budget or what?

Steem has given us all the opportunity to make money, and what have we done with it? Even more importantly, what have we done for Steem?

Even if you did start some campaign in the name of minnow support, guides, curation, or whatever - changes are that 90% of your motives is to get more followers and draw attention to yourself. Its not that you genuinely care about Steem.

Its only a few Steemians that we can truly say care about the Steem ecosystem and the most worthy of them all is @jesta. This guy created steemdb.com, bbchain.com and other tools for free. He does not even post regularly on his @jesta account to get upvotes or money.

Yet we see people who have ~~nothing useful~~ to contribute and are simply motivated by greed continue to spam Steemit every moment they get with every content they can think of. They use upvote services to increase their reputation score and then officially become spamming whales.

Doesn't your heart ache sometimes when you see the junk content people post and yet earn lots of cash for it? What the fork? Should we list some of these spammy whale account less than 2 months old, thousands of posts and reputations of almost 60? No, not a good idea. We might just earn their downvotes.

Women do not do that. They are more personal, reasonable and sensitive to the general welfare of everyone and not just themselves. You can disagree all you want - we said it and will say it again: women are more reasonable than men.

10 & 11: Men are lacking purpose

Almost all the top online digital news sites have put up either pay walls demanding for subscription or are denying access to users with ad-blockers on.

Yet we publish content with less value on Steem, receive less views yet make more money from our posts than they make - yet how show our appreciation for Steem? All we do is to post more useless stuff hoping to get more upvotes and make more money.

If Israel had build a single house you would have been screaming for a boycott of Israel. Yet here you are with this powerful technology and opportunity called Steem and all you care about is posting as much plagiarized viral content to earn yourself as much upvotes and cash as possible.

Instead of campaigning publicly about Steem and making partnership with exciting businesses to integrate Steem we are still here looking for upvotes. No one is out there pitching Steem to celebrities, social media sites, forums or blogs. All we do is to pitch our posts to other Steemian in discord, Steemit.chat or Facebook groups in hope of getting upvotes.

Whether you admit it or not: we are the guilty. The male dominated Blockchain industry has no sense of purpose or direction.

Look at Ethereum. These Ethereum guys simple cannot code a useful web wallet with an intuitive Graphical User Interface for it. Everything is code and console and yet they expert the world to adopt it - how many people can code?

Look at Bitcoin. Our Bitcoin guys too just can't figure out one simple solution for Bitcoin. Every new solution they implement only results in forks, a slower and and more broken network.

Damn. This is not good for business.

12: Women are the makers

Women are the majority sex in the world; you may already know that. But do you also know that while men are more imaginative, women are more practical and decisive.

Let me show you some powerful attributes of women:

Women are practical
Women are realists an take less risk
Women are social
Women are caring, sensitive and not selfish

If you want confirmation of these, just look at your mother, spouse or friend. Look at all the sacrifice these women make for us of us.

Yes, women are down to earth and very practical. The more women join and support the Blockchain industry, the more we will practical and established it will become.
