@farm-mom really,really,really, really, loves @foodfightfriday, orchastrated by @jlsplatts, @dandays, and @weirdheadaches.
Personally, I think I may enjoy this weekly event even a little bit more than my beautiful bride.
Mutually, we enjoy the laughter, the script, the people, the pictures, the chefs, the banter, the sharing, and the community we have found here @fff, while being totally entertained by its peeps.
Now, in addition to these mutual attractions, we both have our own hidden agendas which #fff has nurtured.
#farm-mom realized early on that this may be just the push I needed to COOK, forever a four letter word in my book.
Well guess what has happened.
WRONG, I'm chopping more, I'm grilling a little more, I still make a mean breakfast when the family is up, but when it comes to the real cooking, I'm still a slacker. Cooking just ain't my gig.
That may sound chauvinistic, now that's a word I haven't heard in a while, but for me, cooking is torturous.
I have changed more diapers, washed more dishes, done more laundry, dusted when I couldn't even see the s--t, vacummed until I need to say, what did you say, all in an effort to keep up with the mundane chores involved with having a family. Doing some of the domestics was just part of the deal.
But COOKING,

I'm so glad I put that in the prenup.
Well, with that off of my chest, I would like to share with you my next culinary masterpiece.
Mushrooms sauteed in some good stuff. I chopped😁
Broccoli, I chopped, we grew, she boiled.
BEEF, I grilled, potatoes cooked and seasoned to perfection, guess who, tomato cut like a flower, defiently NOT ME!

Now, my hidden agenda with getting #farm-mom on board was to meet you'll. I knew she would take to #fff with the vigor she displays in every facet of her life.
You see, she is a people's person, and living in a very rural area doesn't lend itself to interaction and socializing.
My objective was for her to meet some of the wonderful people I had met.
Goal met. ✔✔✔
My bride still yearns for the daily activity that living in New Jersey, with all of our loved ones right around the corner, afforded us, but the isolation that comes with living off of the grid no longer is as prevalent.
She genuinely enjoys the company of all of you, as she does with her friends involved with @wednesdaywalk, @featheredfriday, @melinda010100, @old-guy-photos, @goat-girlz, @flamingirl, @flowerpower, and I'm sure I've missed a few.
This whole Steemit thing has been a wonderful ride and I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Man, I love seeing what you have created at your place. From the maple syrup to the broccoli. From the root balls as decorations to all the little out building to house the kids. What an amazing family place you have built. You get 2,786,564,234 thumbs up from me. Wait better make that 2,786,564,235. 😉. Quick question, are you a hat wearing guy? I imagine you are since you are a big baseball fan but I figure I would ask.

My man! This is a great contender, sir—it’s what #fff and #steem is all about—I sure am glad you agree. It’s a great kitchen to open up and let it all air out. Eh, I’m sure I’m not the first to tell you but the kitchen just isn’t the same without you. Thanks for spending your Friday’s with us, Jurg’s, that Florida month was a tough one for us.
I have a story for you, too. When Splatts first ran this thing passed me 40 something weeks ago, I told him I’m in, from then out we worked together to make this happen. But it wasn’t for me—true story. I had no intention of sticking around. My only purpose was to help get it up and running, that’s it, just long enough until Puravida jumped in. Well, that took a little longer than expected—about 2n1/2 months! By then I was hooked.
Now it’s my favorite Friday of the week, period. I look forward to this group each week, every single one of you are a lot of fun to hang out with, the originality here is top shelf and unlike any other group I’ve dabbled in, I’m glad we all found this joint. Well, I am glad that you stuck around @dandays, even after @puravidaville steeped into the fray. Can't imagine how different my involvement here on this platform would be if #farm-mom and I did not get a chance to meet the both of you, as well as the rest of the chefs. Florida was a great time, but we also missed the regular interaction with you'll. That situation has been rectified, as we have purchased a new Del laptop last week. Still getting acquainted with it, and being that it is a touch screen it is a little weird.

Can I have a piece of chocolate? I’m feeling a bit chocolate deprived over here (would you believe me if I told you that “over” autocorrected to “obese”?). Haha… do you guys get little green worms on your broccoli? I find them in all of the broccoli down here and Dandays is convinced it’s because they don’t use pesticides but I’m still skeptical 🤷🏼♀️

Over to obese, now that is funny. Not usually with the green worms, but we do have to pay attention to the slugs. If in fact the worms are there because the crop doesn't have any pesticides sprayed on them, that would be great, but I also doubt that is the case.

What a cool and fun post, I dont mind cooking but I cool simple so nothing for FFF but I do enjoy seeing the posts, Chocolates are pretty much safe with me I can eat a little but not much or I come out in a rash, was a pain when I was young but good now as I try to loose some weight

I don't think it's possible to go wrong with beef and mushrooms. Very tasty looking, even before you add the potatoes and tomato. Broccoli can come and go, but the beef and mushrooms—a must.
It's nice to see that you and your wife have quite a few things you can do together. I've yet to get my wife that interested in STEEM. I don't think it's going to happen, either.
And you and I feel pretty much the same about cooking. Not our thing, but when pressed into action, we'll do it. There are times where it's kind of fun, but for the most part, it's not enough to just take it over.
