I don't recall who it was (but thank you!), but someone earlier this week posted up a comment on one of my articles (or one of my comments) pointing me towards SteemShelves, which is a pretty great idea. It's a kind of localized compendium of Steemit authors who are serializing their fictional (and non-fictional!) works through the site. Considering how many fantastic authors I'm following (or have simply come across in the last couple months of being on here), having a centralized location where I can go and either visit their profile or check out any of their latest/Steemit-published works is pretty great as it eliminates a lot of the sorting through old posts or re-steemed posts on their own page.
How does one get this service provided? For 2 SBD, they'll post up a single link (along with your profile/bio) alongside other authors who have also submitted works. It took less than 48 hours for my profile and first link to appear, but I imagine the 48 hours might be a more solid number if more people start actively using the service.
Anyway, thanks to @sft and @rhondak for this! And if there are others involved, kudos to you as well; it's a phenomenal idea!
Others who might enjoy this service: @richq11 (for "The Night Gods" series), @michelle.gent, @dragonslayer109, @johnjgeddes, @abigail-dantes, @heart-to-heart (for some of her harrowing real life stories), and numerous, numerous others who keep pumping out solid content on a daily basis.
You can find my first serialized story, "The Museum of Mirrors and the (Mostly) Dead" at the link below:
