A remote and mysterious region on the edge of the Middle World. It is bordered by the encroaching sea to the west, rivers and canals to the north and south and dangerous urban zones ringed by hills and forests to the east. It has been isolating itself more by digging more canals and making existing waterways deeper and wider. The hills and forests have been populated with wild animals and feral people to create a border in that area. There are efforts to use massive force to create a crack in the landscape that would allow the sea to flood the valleys in that area, making the county fully separate from the rest of the country.
