White light!- a #fiftywords poem for @jayna

white light

White light!

Shade in the morning
Shade of the evening
Shade from afternoon sun.

Orange and yellow
Purple and rose
Smudges of shade on the run.

Running from darkness
Running from light
Running from lame static glum.

White light through raindrops
Arches of cinturon
A partial glimpse of beauty,
Which outlives everyone!

This is very sweet, @anonymummy. I like the sing-song rhyme.

Great word play. Very musical. Makes me think of us all as shades running from our designs and desires in every stage of our lives.
Best of luck in the contest.

thankyou @hlezama

I like the way you've hit exactly 50 words and the upbeat lyrical quality to your words. For some reason my brain really wants to change the last two lines to
'A glimpse of beauty,
That which outlives everyone!' But ignore it. It is truly lovely the way it is.

thankyou @gmathe2. I appreciate your c.c. I'm glad you like it.

Great lyrical quality to your poem.. very well done

Thankyou @ablaze
