So this is it! My 50 word story(which I heard from the guest judge episode post.) Hope you you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it
Killian woke to a deafening sound. Light exploded around him. He couldnt see, couldn't breath. There was only light. A blinding, misleading light.
"Hello!" He screamed into nothing but silence solid enough to make an echo. Nothing. He thought, this is death. There is no afterlife, just an overwhelming silence.
This is the first post that isn't a poem for this week, and it's very refreshing. That deafening silence that Killian definitely sent chills to my spine. The uncertainty of it all is way worse than being sure of where you are. Powerless to influence your situation, you're left to only await your fate. Great stuff.
