Life in the Big City

“Fourteen shell casings, five bodies, two Glocks, and an Audi that’s been smashed with a tire iron. Any indications of gang connections?”

“None, sir. Looks like a repeat of that bloodbath in the 23rd precinct.”

“Notify the Chief. Three more dead bystanders because of a fight over a parking space.”

This is why I avoid the big cities! Crazy people all of them living so close to each other with no parking spaces hehe.

No need to avoid the big cities... just avoid the double parked Audi's and crazy people with the Glocks! 😬

HAHAHA it made me laugh and at the same time made me feel bad for laughing. Good story!

Oh, wow. I need to show this teeny story to my partner when he wakes up. He used to live in LA, and we'd be talking on the phone for hours while he would angrily search for one measly parking space in front of his apartment, around the block, three blocks over, all taken up by people who didn't even live there.

I can see this scenario you've written, clear as day!

This is both sick and hilarious. Oh my gosh! Thanks for a great entry.

A lot said with these few words. Well done.

Ouch!! That's (too extreme but) possible IRL, I really feel sorry for the bystanders. Just imagine you're in a big city by chance and g--

"No one gets in a big city by chance."

He was going to say "get killed accidentally."

Wow that's heavy... :0
