Battles in Tight Spaces is as yet in Early Access, so whatever I say is dependent on future developments, yet everything I can say is hot damn. I've been searching for something to fill the opening left by Subset Games' FTL: Faster Than Light — that little game that doesn't ask a ton from me or my equipment, that I can play behind the scenes while I get up to speed with college work — and Fights in Tight Spaces might just be that. That, and my new most loved thing.
To place it into a specialty, Fights in Tight Spaces is a turn-based deck-building rebel-like in which each experience's result is directed by the cards you have in your deck. Its levels are comprised of different various battles (in restricted spaces), with a supervisor battle toward the finish of each level. These levels are mixed with rec centers, where players can procure new cards or update their present ones, clinical offices to mend up among battles, and irregular occasions that can either help or upset you in your journey. The prizes on offer change too: you can bring in cash to purchase and update cards or mend your person; moves up to "force", which permit you to play more cards per turn; moves up to the exceptional assaults accessible to you; improvements (long haul overhauls that extend between battles); or simply free cards and redesigns.
