The Library the Triumph of the Commons

In a previous post I spoke about the tragedy of the commons. I think the public library is a violation of this law for two reasons. 1. Knowledge is not a scarce resource, once shared it is doubled, the student get 1 full part plus his own individual understanding and the teacher retains his full part and learns from the student thus growing the pool of knowledge. 2. Books contain knowledge library share the resources among the community these resources are not destroyed in the process and grow the knowledge of the populis. none of the members have any reason to destroy they only choose to grow the knowledge space.
