I rarely visit Instagram, but when I did recently, specifically to follow someone, this was the first post I saw.
I know nothing about the movie except that it's a 3-hour biopic about theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, scientific director of the Manhattan Project, and head of Los Alamos National Laboratory in Alamogordo, New Mexico during World War II.
He's known as the father of the atomic bomb.
It's based on a 2005 biography of Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin called American Prometheus.
I don't know anything about the book, either, but judging from the few things I've read, this will be a movie about which many people will have plenty to say.
I'll admit I'm not a huge Christopher Nolan fan; his movies, imho, are sterile productions driven by men, where women are given thankless roles as two-dimensional sidekicks, or worse, are killed off. That said, it stars Cillian Murphy who's an outstanding actor and kicked some serious ass in Peaky Blinders, which, if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend.
