Director 'Infinity War' & 'IT' Collaborate on Sci-Fi Movie 'The Electric State

The gigantic movie director duo Marvel is ready to collaborate with the mastermind of a massive horror movie. The rumours were reported by Variety, where the Russo brothers (Avengers: Infinity War) and Andy Muschietti (IT) will work together to lift the novel The Electric State to the big screen. In this promising sounding collaboration, Muschietti is in control as a director and producer, while Russo is quite a producer.

Carrying the sci-fi genre with the post-apocalyptic world setting, The Electric State script will be written Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. They both had previously collaborated with Russo since Captain America: The Winter Soldier. As if feeling fit with Mark and McFeely, Russo was finally re-coupled this writer duo to Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.

The Electric State itself is an illustrated novel by renowned artist Simon Stålenhag, released in October 2017. Set in an alternative world in 1997, the novel revolves around the adventures of a young woman and her robot in the United States that is different from the usual. Because, on their way, the teen found the ruins of giant combat drones, until the technological enthusiast society whose lives are degraded.
