Thanks for this review. Always wanted to dig deeper into Korean cinema but never knew where to start. What other titles can you recommend?

    The Handmaiden, Oldboy, probably 'Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter... and Spring' (but it's too slow too philosophical). I know they do good movies about war, but I don't watch films about war. I don't like this theme. Train to Busan is really cool with fast zombies, almost fast and furious zombies)))). But my favorite Asian movie isn't Korean, but Chinese - In the Mood for Love. If you didn't watch it, please do it because it's like a divine revelation.

    Great list @zazazum I've seen them all and i will recommend also: My Sassy Girl (2001), A Moment to Remember (2004), My Little Bride (2004), Windstruck (2004), Il Mare (2000), Architecture 101 (2012), Always (2011).

      I begin to add these movies to my list and I noticed that almost all of them were adapted by Hollywood.

          Hi @gurney excuse me that I intervened but only what I have finished watching a South Korean movie called Castaway on the Moon (2009) aka Kimssi pyoryugi and it was fantastic .I added this movie to my watchlist and thanks @zazazum for the detailed review.

              You are welcome @gurney and I can tell you that was one of the strangest Drama, Romance movie i've seen.
