Toy Story 4 is an upcoming fantasy-animated comedy movie directed by Josh Cooley starring Tom Hanks as Woody, Laurie Metcalf as Mrs. Davis, Annie Potts as Bo Peep, Kristen Schaal as Trixiet, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, they're who being voices for that characters.

Toy Story 3 (2010) has been given a perfect ending to this Pixar's crown jewel franchise, but in 2014, Pixar announced a prequel to Toy Story 3. Since then, Toy Story has had multiple behind-the-scenes changes and was delayed to next year. So, what's the reason behind the delay? Annie Potts as the voice for character Bo Peep spoke about the major story changes that's what made the delay happen.

She revealed that Pixar throwing out "three-quarters" of the script, that's leading to it swapping release date until summer, Annie Potts while in an interview with Radio Times:

“[Toy Story 4] was supposed to come out this year and then they threw out three-quarters of it and rewrote. Usually, it takes – from start to finish – two years. But because they threw most of it in the bin and started over [my time on the project has] been extended a little bit. I’ve done a lot of work on it.”

This isn't the first time a Toy Story movie has been delayed. but we're hoping this one turns out well, Toy Story has been scheduled to hits theaters on 21st June 2019. I didn't even know we were getting another one! I don't mind waiting longer if it means a better script. If this is done well, we'll all forgive a delay for a great movie.
