All the latest Movieland investigations from detectives Dick Japowski and Joey Arizona.

What Makes a Good Cop? with Dick Japowski
Space Squad: Space sheriff Gavan vs Toksu Sentai Dekaranger (2017)
The newly appointed space sheriff Gavan enlists the help of police force Dekaranger to take down an evil threat that includes dark wormholes and monsters who can machine gun hand! Colourful, great fight corography and a nice running time make this some good tokusatsu!
Cop Factor: 2.5 Doughnuts
First watch: 3.5 Doughnuts

The Arizona Case Files
Dunkirk (2017)
Christopher Nolan takes a stab at the war movie covering the evacuation of Allied forces from French harbour. A dynamic and exciting multi-strand narrative set over three different time threads which eventually converge, but one with few personalities you can latch on to. A great piece of cinema with little rewatch value.
First watch: 4 Doughnuts

The Arizona Case Files
The Hustle (2019)
A gender swap remake of classic comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, copying the original beat for beat, just with none of the charm. Instead relying on Rebel Wilson's usual brand of awkward humour to bring the 'laughs'. Also the epilogue doesn't make any sense.
First watch: 2 Doughnuts

Bait (2019)
Martin comes from a rich tradition of proud fishermen, but his whole being is slowly being eroded away by the increase in tourism.
Man. What a film! A master class in understated performances and ratcheting tension. My heart swells with Cornish pride!
First watch: 5 pasties out of 5

The Arizona Case Files
The Price of Fame (2017)
Documentary about wrestling legend 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DeBiase presented by his son, and fellow former wrestler, Ted DeBiase Jr.
The first half was great, covering DeBiase's early life and wrestling career, with input from plenty of legends of the business (several who have actually passed away since this was made), the second half however is all about how he was 'saved' and his post-wrestling life which would be interesting for ten minutes...not forty five.
First watch: 2.5 Doughnuts

Groundhog Day (1993)
Bill Murray stars as a weather man suffering from a serious sense of deja vu.
This film is a doozy! Whenever I start to forget how good it is I pop it in and get transported back to puxatawney for a heartfelt good time. Am I right or am I right?!
Rewatch: 5 Doughnuts
