On December 17, 1989, the first official episode of The Simpsons was broadcast and from that time we have enjoyed more than 600 episodes, but the story of this iconic animated series actually began before, on April 19, 1987 to be more exact, when the popular yellow family created by Matt Groening debuted in a series of short films produced by James L. Brooks that were part of the show The Tracey Ullman Show .
There is no doubt that The Simpsons has become an important and highly representative part of popular culture over three decades during which we have seen its characters going through all sorts of situations while reflecting the reality of society in one fun way and make fun of everything they can mock. The animated series has also been inspired by various media and one of them, which has certainly been nourished too well, has been the cinema.
Some of the most memorable moments of The Simpsons are clear references to different films and today is a good day to remember the best scenes of the animated series that were born from great scenes of the cinema.
Dracula
In one of the already special Halloween classics, the family is invited to a dinner with Mr. Burns, who turns out to be Dracula himself and in passing reminds us of one of the most chilling moments of the film directed by Francis Ford Coppola .
The Clockwork Orange
In addition to the members of the yellow family, another recurring character in his home is his faithful dog (Santa's helper), which in one of the episodes is subjected to an extreme treatment, very much like The Clockwork Orange, to forget about their loved ones.
Violent times
In what is undoubtedly one of the best parodies of the show, Chief Gorgory meets with Snake and after a chase they both arrive at a store in which they end up being tied up, only to be accidentally rescued by Milhouse.
Requiem for a Dream
In one of the chapters we verified that the effects caused by some drugs can be exactly the same that cause to eat in excess one of the best hamburgers that have been served in the Krusty Burger.
Psychosis
That legendary crime scene in the shower is ingeniously recreated with little Maggie attacking her father after seeing some violence on television.
Trainspotting
Bart and Lisa abuse the treats while they are in England and when they have a kind of trip that is a result of the excess sugar in their organisms, both go through the same "junky limbo" that Renton happens with everything and baby walking through the ceiling of the room.
Thelma & Louise: An Unexpected Ending
After a great friendship is born between Marge and her neighbor Ruth, both women go out to have fun and lose control and then make a big jump in a car.
The Godfather
Lisa awakens a little disconcerted and realizes that there is something in her bed, that something turns out to be a pony and the head of this animal, in addition to the reaction that follows its discovery, is the same as that of the film in the scene that one of his characters discovers the head of a horse.
The Shining
One of the segments of the Treehouse of Horror V is a recreation of The Shining in a few minutes the most emblematic moments of the film are reintroduced and reinvented his story with a Homer who loses control and becomes a threat to his family.
Cape Fear
The second episode of the fifth season of The Simpsons is perhaps the best parody that has been made of a movie in the series. Bart begins to receive a series of threats and the one responsible is Sideshow Bob, who after leaving prison is in charge of intimidating the child in many ways, causing the whole family to move and adopt a new identity, here we met the Thompson.

This might have been interesting article, however I cannot like it as none of the images are yours nor have they been credited. I realize that crediting images is an onerous task, but even a token attempt to mention that none of these images, nor the you tube clip, belong to you would be the very least you could have done.

it does not matter if it is obvious. crediting work is about acknowledging the source. it's both good habit and good form.
