Wow. I saw Coco finally. And just wow. It was beautiful. Visually stunning and telling a story and celebrating a culture that is often ignored or stereotyped.

Miguel, spurned by his family refusing to let him be a musician goes to the spirit world, accidentally, and must find a way back before sunrise and with a blessing from a family member that doesn’t include a no music clause.

It’s a little more complicated than that but it is really good.
