Hallo Steemianer,
ein neuer Beitrag zu dem #FilmFriday, initiiert durch #javehimself. Dieses mal geht es um einen Film in einem ganz eigenen Universum und mit seiner ganz eigenen Art KI (Künstliche Intelligenz) darzustellen, Chappie. Ein Film von Neill Blomkamp. Chappie spielt auch wie die beiden ersten Filme District 9 und Elysium in der Gegend rund um Johannesburg und Südafrika. Und reiht sich damit in ein Universum ein das so gut wie keinerlei Zusammenhänge aufweist, doch die Art in welcher die Filme umgesetzt sind, die Umgebungsdarstellung und die Tatsache dass Chappie und der Rest der Roboter aussehen wie Vorgänger aus Elysium, verbindet diese drei Filme auf eine mal etwas andere Art, Ein Universum das mit Wissenslücken und Logik Fehlern gespickt ist, das aber auch keine Anstalten macht dies zu verschleiern. Es kommt einem eher so vor als ob die drei Filme Geschichten aus Johannisburg und die Welt darum erzählen in verschiedenen Epochen der Menschheit. Und ich muss sagen es funktioniert, die Erzähl-Art und die Umsetzungsweise der Filme ist so nah beisammen das man diese einfach verbindet ohne den Zusammenhang direkt zu sehen. Das zu schaffen ist auch mal etwas besonderes und gebührt allein schon Respekt. Zur Kritik bei Chappie ist zu sagen das der Film einen stark an Nummer 5 lebt aus den 80er erinnert, aber halt in unsere Zeit versetzt inkl. aller Ernsthaftigkeit die heute oft vorherrscht. Grundsätzlich ist der Film relativ brutal, in der gleichen nahen Art wie bei District 9 und Elysium. Zwei Dinge funktionieren bei Chappie sehr gut, das ist zum einen den Roboter Chappie über die dauer des Films immer mehr lieb zu gewinnen und der Bösewicht, Hugh Jackman in so einer Rolle zu sehen verleiht dem Film gleich noch mehr Charakter da er einfach richtig fies sein kann. Von daher schaut Ihn euch an aber mit viel Bling-Bling!

Director und Writer
Neill Blomkamp ist mit seinen bereits erfolgreichen Filme District 9 und Elysium kein Unbekannter mehr in Hollywood. Allerdings war vor diesen Filmen eher dafür bekannt Kurzfilme zu machen und auch sein neuester Streich Rakka ist ein Kurzfilm über eine Reptilienartige Alienrasse die uns versklavt hat. Hier spielt sogar Sigourney Weaver mit obwohl die erste Episode nur 22 Minuten dauert, das ganze klingt durchaus interessant und ich werde mir diese in den nächsten Tage mal anschauen, zu Rakka werde ich dann einen kurzen Bericht abliefern hier auf Steemit.
Mein Tipp
Lasst den Film in fahrt kommen, das braucht er. Doch zum Schluss hin werdet Ihr nicht enttäuscht sein. Es gibt viele Details und kleine Wendungen im Film zu entdecken wie das Blomkamp gerne macht. Diese Art einen Film umzusetzen ist schon etwas besonderes, daher denke ich nicht das Leuten die bei den beiden Filmen District 9 und Elysium gesagt haben “so ein Quatsch” Chappie gefallen wird. Allen anderen rate ich förmlich dazu sich diesen noch anzuschauen.
Plot (Spoilerfrei)
In naher Zukunft wird Johannesburg durch autonome Roboter beschützt, die Verbrechensrate ist stark gesunken und ein junger Mann Namens Deon Wilson ist für geniale Programmierung der Roboter zuständig. Sein Erfolg ruft allerdings den Neid seines Kollegens Vincent Moore auf den Plan. Dieser hatte ebenfalls ein Projekt mit Robotern am laufen dem nun aber die Mittel gekürzt werden da die Verbrechensrate bereits unter kontrolle ist. Zeitgleich arbeitet Deon an einer künstlichen Intelligenz für die Roboter, erhält dafür aber keine Genehmigung für Tests des Systems. Nach einem Zwischenfall außerhalb der Roboterfabrik, ist Deon gezwungen die KI-Software in einen alten ausrangierten Roboter zu laden. Dieser entwickelt sofort ein Bewusstsein, dieses ist jedoch auf dem Stand eines Kleinkindes. Bei dem erwähnten Zwischenfall hat eine kleine Gangstergruppe Deon entführt und beginnt nun mit dem Roboter den Sie kurzerhand Chappie nennen zu interagieren. Was wird er von Ihnen lernen und wird Deon aus dieser Situation wieder heil rauskommen. Chappie wirds euch zeigen!

Sharlto Copley der in District 9 und Elysium Hauptrollen spielt macht in diesem Film nichts anderes. Er ist Chappie und ist somit mit dem Film-Universum von Neill Blomkamp fest verbunden. Er liefert sowohl die englische Stimme als auch die Motion Capture Bewegungen die Chappie zum Leben erweckt haben.

a new contribution to the #FilmFriday, initiated by #javehimself. This time it's about showing a movie in its very own universe and with its very own kind of AI (artificial intelligence), Chappie. A film by Neill Blomkamp. Like the first two films, Chappie also plays District 9 and Elysium in the area around Johannesburg and South Africa. And thus joins a universe that has almost no connections, but the way in which the films are realized, the presentation of the environment and the fact that Chappie and the rest of the robots look like predecessors from Elysium, connects these three films in a somewhat different way, a universe that is peppered with gaps in knowledge and logic errors, but that also makes no effort to disguise this. It seems as if the three films tell stories from Johannesburg and the world around it in different epochs of mankind. And I have to say it works, the narrative style and the way the films are realized is so close together that you simply connect them without seeing the context directly. To achieve this is something special and deserves respect. To the criticism with Chappie is to be said that the film reminds one strongly of Nummer 5 lives from the 80s, but just transported into our time incl. all seriousness that often prevails today. Basically, the movie is relatively brutal, in the same close manner as District 9 and Elysium. Two things work very well for Chappie, that is to win the robot Chappie over the duration of the movie more and more dear and the villain to see Hugh Jackman in such a role gives the movie even more character because he can be just really nasty. So look at him with a lot of bling-bling!

Director and Writer
Neill Blomkamp with his already successful films District 9 and Elysium is no longer unknown in Hollywood. However, before these films was more known for making short films and also his latest prank Rakka is a short film about a reptilian alien race that enslaved us. Even Sigourney Weaver plays here although the first episode only lasts 22 minutes, it sounds quite interesting and I will have a look at it in the next days, I will deliver a short report to Rakka here on Steemit.
A tip
Get the film rolling, that's what he needs. But in the end you will not be disappointed. There are many details and little twists in the film to discover how the Blomkamp likes to do things. This way of making a movie is something special, so I don't think people who said "such nonsense" Chappie in the two movies District 9 and Elysium will like it. I strongly advise everyone else to have a look at it.
Plot (no spoiler)
In the near future Johannesburg will be protected by autonomous robots, the crime rate has fallen sharply and a young man named Deon Wilson is responsible for ingenious robot programming. His success, however, arouses the envy of his colleague Vincent Moore. He also had a project with robots running, but now the funds are being cut because the crime rate is already under control. At the same time, Deon is working on artificial intelligence for the robots, but is not granted permission to test the system. After an incident outside the robot factory, Deon is forced to load the AI software into an old discarded robot. He immediately develops an awareness, but it is on the level of an infant. In this incident, a small gang of gangsters kidnapped Deon and begins to interact with the robot you just call Chappie. What will he learn from you and will get Deon out of this situation in one piece. Chappie will show you!

Sharlto Copley who plays leading roles in District 9 and Elysium does nothing else in this movie. He is Chappie and is therefore firmly connected to the film universe ofNeill Blomkamp. It delivers both the English voice and the motion capture movements that brought Chappie to life.
