As a director, I personally love working with actors. It's not easy but I find it to be the most creative job once you're on set. If you have a strong script and know your characters inside and out, it makes communicating with actors so much easier.

I'm in the development phase of my first indie film as well. I'd be interested in knowing more about the film you just shot.
