At first I thought this film was going to be a documentary of sorts about Gordon Ramsay (and someone seriously needs to make that film!) and I really enjoyed Jon Favreu's "Chef" so I thought this was going to be a sure thing for something I would find entertaining. However, I was pretty let down as this film just isn't that great.

The story follows Adam Jones, an up-and-coming Michelin-rated chef who sees his own career crash and burn because of his wild temper (very Ramsay-ish) and perpetual drug use. This combination of traits results in the destruction of the fancy-pants restaurant in Paris and the temporary loss of his career. He is particularly distraught by these turns of events because the restaurant was owned by his friend and mentor.
He sobers up and unsurprisingly has another go at gaining respect in the culinary community and also to obtain his 3rd Michelin star. That is pretty much the movie in a shell.

While to some the storyline might seem boring right out of the gate I enjoy these movies for the same reason that I enjoy a great many of the cooking shows that I watch: Food Pron. IE> don't start watching these films if you are hungry. The sequences where the food preparation is taking place is pretty entertaining to anyone that admires the culinary arts. I know that I do despite the fact that I can barely boil an egg. For people that are really into Food Network shows, this might be worth a watch, just don't expect a terribly engaging story because it really isn't there.
In case it wasn't clear in what I wrote so far - I really wanted to like this film and I can't say exactly what they did wrong, but the story is just a bit boring. If you were going to choose one food-oriented film to watch I would suggest watching Jon Favreau's "Chef" because it is superior in pretty much every way.
I think you're having discussions about movies and serials sometimes I think it's one of the reasons why I've been following your publications constantly
This movie seems boring from your point of view for you I will get away from it

Sometimes, it happens. You will be expecting to love a film and it later turns out to be the opposite

It is the same case for me , sometimes a certain movie seems to be great at first but it turns out to be boring or some filming scenes arent professional . @gooddream concerning the suggested cooking movie , i agree with that. Thanks for sharing , it was pretty interesting to discuss :)
