2400 years prior the immense Sanskrit grammarian #Panini recorded and clarified 2000 root words. These are only the foundations of the words, a root, for example, "Cushion" produces "cushion" "pada" "paduka" "padya" "padaga" "padati" "padanta" and various different words from only one root.

Its been assessed by Dr. Sampadananda Misra that these 2000 roots can create more than 300 million words, yet in 1604 the English dialect contained a little more than 2650 words such is the foundation of the antiquated Vedic/Sanskrit culture.
