FreshWater Redtail CatFish (check this out)

Good day my dearest fellow steemians, have a nice day to us , Today , I just want to share to us , about the Redtail Catfish ,One of the monster fish in the Amazon river .

Phractocephalus hemioliopterus as know as Redtail Catfish is the pimelodid or the Long whiskered kind of Catfish . In the country of venezuala it is called as eajaro and also in the country of brazil, this fish known as Pirarara . This kind of catfish is the only extant genus species phractocephalus . It is common in the tank aquarium trade , even it is adult size, it makes this fish unsuitable for the largest aquariums. Although this fish redtail catfish are living only in representative of the fish genus , and there have other kinds or family in back to the upper Miocene that date , and the only known from the remains fossils. In year 2003 P.nassi was described , and from the country of venezuala , urumaco.

And other underscribed family are known to existence from Brazil and Acre .
This kind of genus has the minimum year , it can live even in 13.5 million years, and it can reach grow about 5ft 11inc (1.8 m ) in length , about 80 kg or 180lb in weight.

This large and also a colorful kind of Catfishes has a back brownish, and with the yellow sides and also Orange-red characteristics in the dorsal fin and the caudal fins ( Common name Hense ) . It is have a paired of barbels in the upper jaw and also in lower . This fish Redtail are only native to Ommoco , Colombia , Peru , Ecuador , Venezuala, Bolivia , Brazil, South Africa , and especially in the AMAZON RIVER. It found in the fresh water only , and the inhabitants is the larger lakes, streams and the rivers .
