I'm baaaack! Addressing my new focus

Howdy everyone! Oh boy, I haven't uploaded an actual post in MONTHS. Anyways, I'm excited to be back and have a new focus for my blog. I have been in the aquarist hobby for a while now and it came to my attention that it would be nice to compile my progress and where better to do it than Steemit! I have not found many fish enthusiasts from my research on Steemit so if there is a group out there I would love to know! If not, I might as well take the opportunity to create one. So with that in mind, I plan on sharing my progress on my aquariums whether it be through pictures or videos.

Above is my 10 gallon tank setup. I'm pretty happy with the way the tank looks and at the time the picture was taken I had just bought that yellow mystery snail to help clean up any food debris that wasn't eaten by the fish. I needed to get a clean up crew because I'm using sand as my substrate which is not the easiest to siphon during water changes. So far I have a nearly full sized gold Severum, juvenile green Severum and four neon tetras in this tank with the snail. Before I read any of the comments, I know this gold Severum is too big for this tank! Have no fear, I just got a 75 gallon tank which is plenty for this fish to swim around in! These fish will not be stuck in this 10 gallon for long, I just have a few more items to get for the 75 gallon and plan to blog about the entire process.

That's all I have to say so far about this 10 gallon tank! If anyone is considering becoming involved in the aquarist hobby or has any questions about freshwater fish let me know! I will do my best to answer them. I plan to address my 5 gallon pea puffer tank in the next post, stay tuned!

Thank you for posting. @bullionstackers did a few posts a while back with regard to his aquarium inhabitants.
Looking forward to your series.

That fish is really cool looking.

It's great you are back! :)
