My Secret of Successful Fishing

I want you to step back in time with me, let say back to the time man figured out he could eat fish. Could you catch enough fish to keep yourself alive or what if you had to feed a village. The first fish was probably hand caught by someone getting a drink of water and saw a bird or animal catch a fish. Just imagine being the first guy to take a bite of a raw fish, the second guy, after watching the first guy hurl, decided to add fire. As times past and man needed more fish, they started looking for ways to catch more fish in the least amount of time as possible. They used spears and bows to help increase productivity. They even figured out that certain plant had toxin in there makeup and it could be used to stun or kill the fish for maximum production yield. Another way they figured out was the use of dams. They would dam up a section of a stream or river and spear the fish stuck in the shallow pools. Grass was weaved together to make the first net, which allowed them to net along the coast. Then traps come along, probable invented by someone who didn’t like getting wet. Then years later my favorite lure was made, it was red in color with the word DYNOMITE printed on it side. Today you see folks at the boat ramp with $250,000 rigs, Truck, boat that does 100 miles an hour and guys wearing funny outfits covered in patches of all their favorite fishing gear. For what, now all folks do is catch fish, take a photo, release the fish and blog about how great they are and the secrets they have figured out about out smarting a fish with the brain the size of a marble. Amazing at how we have evolved. You want to know the best kept secret of fishing, hear I will tell you, just don’t let everyone else know, lets keep it between us. Fish where the fish are, pretty simple.
