Dylan DeBoer and his 42" Muskie
Monsters! Monsters! Everywhere! Well, in Lake of the Woods in Sleeman, Ontario at least.
Long time Reelfinatics, Rob DeBoer, of Chicago, with his sons Tyler, Dylan and a couple of their buddies headed Up North in search of monster northern pike and walleye. Up North in this case means Lake of the Woods in Sleeman, Ontario, Canada.
Dylan's 25.5" Walleye
From what was sent to me it's apparent they hammered some big muskies too. Take note that the heads on these pike and muskie are like caiman.

Rob said that both 42" muskies were caught while they were actually fishing for northern pike. Rob said both boys were throwing "standard spinners."

Tyler DeBoer with a fat 19.5" Bass
I asked Rob how many fish he thinks the group of five caught over five days and he thinks it was 350-400. That's easy to believe for "up there," in fact I thought he was going to reply a bit higher.
I've been to northern Canada two times and it's truly spectacular. It's special because the vast wilderness you are blessed to fish is beautiful, untouched and full of trophy fish.
Tight Lines & Peace Out
