Back At It Again On A Saturday Morning...Yippee!!!

Given my last HBCP workout was Thursday today, Saturday, it was time to hit the iron again. That meant a 615am wake up.

Now I prefer to NOT get up on Saturday morning so early. It's the weekend, right?

However, at 49 years of age I don't have much slack or leeway when it comes to not being consistent for my workouts. My numbers on my squats and the bench press have plateaued for a while now and I really want to bust thru. That means getting up on Saturday early.

Anyway, the numbers...

front squat - 10x45 5x95 4x105 3x115 3x125 2x135 5x145 5x150 5x150 3x135

While the numbers are not new, I was very ok with my form. I'll take that any workout.

overhead press - 5x45 2x95 2x105 5x115 5x116.5 5x116.5 3x95

Again, no new marks. Good form though.

pull ups - 5x30 5x30.623 5x31.25

Ditto.

Bbell lunges - 3x16x100

Dips - 5x50.623 5x51.25 5x51.88

It took 90 minutes to finish this workout which is a little longer than normal given I added the dips at the end. Next week I hope to revisit my previous marks in all the HBCP movements.

Man that is great , for me it seems I cant get it right . Everytime I started to workout its just fade and return to the old me :(
