My Transformation (Fitness, Bodybuilding, Weight Lifting)

in fitness •  8 years ago

Here is a little about my personal transformation from Day 1 to Year 1 to Year 3.

Day 1

I was introduced to the world of fitness/bodybuilding when I was about 16 years old (see top picture on the left). It is safe to say I had no idea what I was doing. I would watch YouTube videos on "How to Lift Weights" and "How to Get Huge Quick" not realizing at the time that there is no "quick" or "easy" way to get to where you want to be.

Year 1

The photo on the right above is where I was at the one year mark. Not much of a difference right? Did I just waste a whole year?? I don't think so, it was a great learning experience for me as you can see below.

Year 3

In the two years between these photos were taken, I buckled down and devoted to changing myself. I learned how to track my food and not to worry about how much weight I can lift because it is the quality of the lift that will make you grow, not the weight. Now, I still have a long way to go no doubt but I feel I have a great foundation to build on now and I am looking into doing my first bodybuilding show.

Thanks for looking, let's see your transformations!
