The truth about ABS

in fitness •  7 years ago

So here is a more recent picture of me after spending about a year in the gym. There has definitely been some changes in strength and size but still lots of space left to go. I have put on about ~10 pounds of muscle. Lots of people are impressed when you lift up your shirt and have a nice set of abs. Lots of people want abs however, they go about getting them in the wrong way. Doing crunches and leg lifts and all these an excersizes WON'T give you abs. These will definitely improve your core strength, but if you can't see your abs, doing these won't give you the look you are trying to achieve. Everyone has abs but for most people it is stuck under layers of belly fat. How do we lose this belly fat? The best way is by eating right and with cardio. Burn fat by staying within a calorie deficit. You can't target fat loss in specific areas of the body like most people think, so by eating right and doing different forms of cardio, you can lose the extra fat all around and eventually you'll have that cut 6 pack you're looking for. Stay tuned for nutrition facts and other working plans!
