Constant Movement: The Body is the Universe

The universe is in constant motion. The stillness is filled with movement. When one is exhausted, depressed, imbalanced. Any movement is a movement towards the cure. Physical movement can serve as a path to connecting with the universal flow of energy. It directly taps you in , athletes often call this the flow state. A state where the thinking mind subsides to the feeling mind. The expressive mind that has an intelligence of its own. That is guided by passion and emotion. It then is filtered through the intelligence of the bodies practices. The intelligence that has developed over your entire lifetime of movement. It is all filtered through the moments that you experience moving. The more often you move the better you feel. When in deep recovery or physical pain. Gentle slow mindful movements serve the body so much benefit. They allow you to explore the feeling that is trapped in the body and feel its connection to your experience, to your life and release them right out your wind pipes. This slow pace can lead you to a connection with your breath. A step beyond relying on the training of your body is relying on the raw capability of your body. The breath as your leader as your guidance system through a workout or system of movements can birth you into physical situations that simultaneously challenge and delight you.
