For a lot of people it's very hard to go to the gym on a regular basis. You don't really have to workout 5-6x a week, but being able to workout just 2-3x week will already improve your health a lot.
But even if you're very motivated to workout regularly, you have trouble finding the time on a busy day?
I love working out, so I don't really have trouble motivating myself. But there a days I don't feel like.
On those days the following tips help me a lot. And maybe you find them helpful too.
- Find the best time for your workout. There are people who like working out early in the morning while others perform better in the evening
- Make it a priority! Take your workouts seriously. They are as important as other things you want to accomplish
- Schedule your workouts. Don't make other appointments if you have already a workout appointment on that specific time or date
- Find a sport that you really enjoy! You really hate running? Maybe you'll enjoy strength training more. Find out what you enjoy the most and you'll stick to it
- Visualize your goals. You want that bikini body? Keep that in mind if you want to skip a workout
- Working out will help you relaxing. Even if you had a busy day a good workout will be very invigorating.
- Find a workout buddy. Working out together can be even more fun
- No excuses. A rainy day is not a reason to skip a workout
- Make it a habit. Once it is a habit, you don't want to miss it anymore
- Just do it
- It's fun!
Hey great post. I agree with all your tips and I would say that basically for anyone out there, once you start seeing those results it's addicting, and no longer feels like a chore to go to the gym/workout. As long as you stick with it long enough to see even some small progress, it should get easier from there to be consistent! Once again thanks for the post, you gained a follower!
